These kittens are getting bolder…and braver. Not just because Sweetie Pie is here as she tends to go to the other side of the barn on the hotter days with her kittens where the hay is stored. Cooler. Nope, Magic’s kids are just becoming more comfortable, me thinks.
I’ve named the black one Bear.
He has the same skinny physique that Sweetie Pie has. As with Sweetie Pie, seems like you will hurt him when you pet him – so, so slight of frame. Bear is getting more and more comfortable having me hold him in my lap…doesn’t try to get down. In fact, I have to put him down so I can leave and the others can come out and eat! He is a pistol. Getting very bold and coming closer to the house.
Ok, names. Mostly the names are based on behavior, thus, sex “determined”. (Reserve the right to modify later!) The cream one with the black face is Rocky.
Sorry. Has to be. Ok…if it turns out to be a girl, “Rockette”?? Nah. The other two creams are nearly identical, but the one with more of a buff color to his back is for sure a boy (I saw his da kines when he was playing!) and he is Stephen. Fits him. The other I have decided is a girl and named her Charlotte. (All three of these cream ones are obviously Siamese due to their colorations and their blue eyes.) The two tiger kittens: one has less stripping on it’s face, which is mostly tan. I think she is a girl so I named her Cinnamon. The other tiger is Pete.
Again, behavior has determined names.
Sweetie Pie’s two, I think, are both females. The gray and white is named Lucy – which fits her to a “t”.
The soft gray with thin stripes of beige here and there is named Cassie.
They tend to be more skittish, likely because mom keeps them apart from the others and they don’t go exploring as much – or spend as much time in my presence like the others! (By the by….still no sign of Magic.)
So, here we are: Keller Farms Sport Horses….and cats!
