Judge’s Commentary:
Author Finley Jones Keller has written a delightful story about two little kittens, an opossum, and a raccoon who become their new friends. There are lessons here about friendship and not making fun of others, you never know when they may come to your rescue.
The story flows smoothly. It is easy to read. It is a good read aloud book and emerging readers will love it, too.
The illustrations by Keller are cartoonish and fun. They add nicely to the story. This is book six in the Children’s Stories from Keller Farms, and it will make children want to read the others.”
